Garlic Beef and Broccoli
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. skirt steak, cut into 4-inch-long pieces, then cut against the grain into 1/4-inch-thick slices
- 4 cups Broccoli Florets
- 2 cubes Crushed Ginger
- 4 cubes Crushed Garlic
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions
Slice the steak against the grain, and set aside.
Place half the oil and four B'gan Garlic Cubes and two B'gan Ginger Cubes into a large wok, and set over high heat until the wok and oil are very hot - almost smoking.
Carefully add 1/3 to 1/2 of the meat to your wok, and stir fry for about 1 minute. Add in a couple of cups of broccoli, and continue to stir fry another 1-2 minutes.
Prepare the sauce with the remaining ingredients.
Add in enough sauce to coat the beef and broccoli, and cook until thickened.
Set aside, and cover to keep warm while you cook the remaining portions of the dish.
Serve over a bed of white rice.
